Swim – 40 lengths x 25m - 22:56

Swimming felt good today. Managed to stretch to 40 lengths for the first time in a while, and posted my best time at it as well. Happy Days

Cheers Stevie. Yeah I have. It's been busier than it used to be when my daughter is getting her swimming lesson, so instead of swimming laps without thinking too much about it, I've used that time to fine tune my technique. I'm not saying it's pretty by any stretch of the imagination, but it's getting better!

29/10/18 (Evening) -

Swim
warm up 250m

5 x 50m @ 55 seconds pace, 1 minute rest

cool down 100m

First 50m was at 50 second pace, but the times fell of a cliff edge after that. I'm consistent with 24 seconds to the wall at 25m, but can't keep the pace on the way back. I'd like to improve this side of things, but there's not too much I can do with 2 x 30 mins sessions a week, so I'll just keep on keeping on

Don't underestimate that 30 minutes. Keep putting in that time and 100% you'll see improvements.

Yeah you're right. The issue is I can't always get a good go at it due to the amount of people swimming at different paces in the lane. My daughters lesson is at about the busiest time in the pool, but I'll keep doing what I can. As with everything consistency is the key

That's what I love about this place. We kick ourselves in the ass because we miss a couple of workouts, LOL. We are far from normal, and that's a good thing.

Kudos!
