Didn't post for a few days but been finishing off Accelerate which I did today. In all my strength went up, my conditioning got faster and my mile time increased too.

Went to watch an amateur strongman comp today which was great fun though a tad hot to say the least. Going to struggle with the programme workouts this week, maybe a good time to class a Deload and just run a week behind everyone in GGA

Been away with work so caught up on 2 of the Elevate Workouts today. will get Wednesdays done tomorrow and Fridays on Sunday then I'm up to date (missing the optional one)

Rowing was done after the legs workout. Pretty pleased with my numbers.

Finally caught up on Elevate!  (worked away Monday) Had to double up on the workouts today but got them done and I'm now up to speed! I can't train Saturdays so will be aiming  to start my week on a Sunday (not Monday as the programme now goes)

was Squats today, some conditioning and then this afternoon knocked out 5 rounds of 10second blasts, pretty consistent at around 63/64 m and then a 20 minute steady state covering 5299m, all on the rower. Sandbagged the first half then picked up the pace.

Ohh... forgot to say I've been driving myself up the wall deciding on a decent barbell so ordered an oly/dual type for now while I continue to drive myself up the wall on picking a power bar!

It was very exciting to lift on a decent bar for a change and while it probably made no difference at all it feels a lot nicer to grip than my hex bolt special. Plus it didn't look to be visually bending when it was loaded with the 115kg for squats :)

today was shoulders KG presses, followed by Biceps curls, dips and front raises with some roll outs and mobility. Pretty easy on the volume and recovery I guess.

I did 4700m of rowing after too just as some steady paced rowing.

Rest day today, cranked out an easy 10k on the rowing machine and hit up 30 minutes of solid mobility work

Easy and 10k row don't belong in the same sentence no matter the pace. Good work!

dang did the heavy squats session and kinda made my back tight making other training hard!

Backing off the pace a little but getting it done. I'm not risking long term injury for short term gains! Already feeling a lot better but suspect the heavy stuff is out for a week.

Will do single leg stuff rather than bilateral if needed.

Sounds like a smart plan MCR.

Longevity is always something to focus on. Real good plan.
