Ok..its on.

 

The WOD for August IS

 

400m walking lunges. 10kilo/20 pound vest. For time.

 

Inspired by Corey Gregory, its been a while since a few of us have done this. Simple, brutal, perfect.

 

August has started. Lets get onto it. Mark out 400m and get it done.

This was the most painful excruciating WOD that I've done yet.

Jumper, I swear, I love you, but since I'm on the other side of the world and don't have to worry about outrunning you, I say with affection that you can suck it long and suck it hard!

Hmmmmm... no vest so I'll go with a 20# ruck... and will have to find knee pads...

Oooohh...a new challenge...have done this before...have to find a track as doing it on a treadmill doesn’t work for me

-400m w/ 20# ruckpack

Forgot the phone at home so I have no idea the time. Got to the track about 6:10.. completed a warmup lap.. put on the diy knee pads (cut up socks).. 400m lunges.. then 2 lap cooldown. Was about 7:10 when I got back in the old minivan.

Is there much of a smoke screen there? It’s terrible here in Calgary.

Is there much of a smoke screen there? It’s terrible here in Calgary.

It's not as bad here (Fraser Valley). Pretty hazy the last couple weeks, but not nearly as smoky as Kamloops or Prince George. Still pretty amazing how it's effecting the air quality all the way into Alberta.
