Looks like we haven't had a Monthly WOD in a while, so he is some madness to make your month...

Not for time

Barbell complex (3 rounds @ 95#) - 1st round=8 reps, 2nd round=10 reps, 3rd round= 15 reps

Romanian Deadlift -
Hang clean -
Thruster -
Alternating reverse lunges -  reps/side
Deadlift -
(Complete each exercise (all reps) without putting down barbell = 1 round of complex, if drop barbell before end of all exercises then round doesn't count)

Rest as you feel needed between rounds - grip will be tested for sure...

Have fun...

November 12/18

Well this looked like a lot of fun on paper...BRUTAL in real life...

20 minute warmup on treadmill (1 minute walk, 4 minute run alternating)

Nov. WOD - round 1 @ 95 # - completed all 8 reps/ exercise
3 minute rest
Round 2 @ 95# - completed all 10 reps/ exercise (was ready to stop by the time lunges got around)
5 minute rest
Round 3 @ 95# - completed all 15 reps/exercise
3 minute rest
10 minute cooldown on treadmill

BRUTAL, BRUTAL, BRUTAL...

Agreed. Brutal. Wrists were the weak point for me.

Round 1 @ 95 # - completed all 8 reps

*Thruster technique "needs" work (alternative would be to not do thrusters); held barbell in front rack for the reverse lunges
Round 2 @ 95# - completed all 10 reps

**Barbell on back for reverse lunges
Round 3 @ 95# - completed all 15 reps (broken)
***RDL 1x15; HPC 1x10, 1x5; thruster 3x5; reverse lunge 1x30 (bodyweight only); Deadlift 1x15

Completed in under 20 minutes. Didn't track rest. Might have been able to complete round 3 without breaking reps, but the wrists were taking the brunt of it. No point risking a serious strain injury. Overall really enjoyed this wod, and might keep it in rotation.

Practice the basics as if they were advanced. That's the key to advancing
