So cool you work out with the lad! And love the J girls.
Reminds me of a quote: Deadlifts are like women. They'll hurt you every time but they'll make a man out of you in the end.

We rock-n-roll loading up the plates and have the moves planned before we leave the house , right after our shake , lol . Really looking forward to the thaw . It was a sweet 10 degrees tonight . Oh yeah , Day 1 kicked my ass , lol .

All I can say to your working out with your son in 10 degree F weather is..........'Merica!  RLTW!  Solid Work!

Onother great week ! The J-Girls smoked our bags and put a little more bass in our voices , lol . We're starting to feel a little cocky about the other stuff as we both are feeling so much better in our daily routine . I haven't felt this way in quite some time and cant describe the feeling of seeing my sons progress and attention to detail . We had a great relationship prior to EO3 and it is evolving into something greater . I feel grateful , indebted  to this EO3 community . The names of a few stand out to me : ( Off the top of my head ) Jumper , Vida , Chuck , Audrey , Big Steve , Bobby O , Dustoff dave , Lady O , Thriver , Jpera  , The Donnybrook . You guys are setting the standards for me as your drive's are VICIOUS ! You are BEASTS roaming the EO3 and I'm proud to be a part of it .

Cheers Stu, but you're doing your part in inspiring people just as much. Consistently working out in the freezing cold with your son is pretty special. I can only imagine how that is going to effect his character further down the track. Basically, one tough bad ass who is prepared to put the work in. Awesome.

I second what Jumper said, it's awesome to see that.  That bonding time will be priceless and something he remembers forever.  I still remember playing "horse" against my dad 20+ years ago.  Very cool.

Last night after the workout Tony said , " Let me see how close I can come to grabbing that beam . ( a beam in the barn that we both tried to grab during ground zero but never could ) Next thing I see is him hanging from it . I gave it a shot and we were hanging together . I know it is a small thing but man it fired us up . LOL !

Another great week ! This warm weather has my eyes looking to the skyline . Soon , we will bug out and hit the Appalachian Trail for a few days . Still need some kit tho along with a WOD to fine tune what is to come . Its time to start paying more attention to these " stressers "  . We'll plug in 5 more pounds and dance with the " J Girls " for another cycle .Then , I'll seek help and tap into the wealth of knowledge that roams this EO3 land .

Nice looking box.  I think my next plyo box project will be something stackable.  Easier than jumping onto plates, I think.  Where did you get the design?

Looks good man, you could park a car on that!  The hat reminds me to thank you for your service to our country - I have a lot of friends and family in the service as well as do my best to hire veterans.  I currently have 3 on my staff from various branches, being in maintenance and engineering it typically falls to the Air Force and Navy.  The Army guys typically gravitate towards logistics.  Thank you to all branches of military and law enforcement, both foreign and domestic,  that may be reading this.  The news in the US may not promote it but there are  A LOT of us standing behind you.
