CF Games were pretty awesome, it's quite the event they put on.  Got to see some friends I haven't seen in years, check out new gear, all kinds of free stuff, spent WAY to much money and oh ya, got to watch some of the fittest people on the planet compete.  The amount of shopping both for gear and food is ridiculous!  Think of a huge state fair for healthy people - the kids did manage to find the only cheese curd (WI thing) and corn dog vendor on the entire campus though...

Moved 3 ton of rock, shit load of plants, whitewashed and painted all the fucking bricks on our house - plus got my OHP'ing done over the weekend.  Good stuff

 

Day 1 Masters programming Misfits

2) Find 4RM thruster - 160#, left 5-10# on the table but felt good

 

3) Chipper 16:00 Time cap

60 BFB

 

Made it through 5 BFB - the HSPU's killed me and my time

8/15 Misfits Masters Day #3 - I should note this is Games week, the intent to have a fun week of "games" type WOD's before jumping into the next cycle

 

SO

 

1) WU 15 SDHP bar / 4-8 HSPU (S) + bands/bike/foam roller

 

2) Oly Template Work 6X3 Hang Squat Clean from mid thigh - worked to 185# (no dropping and resetting)

 

3) AG Chipper - modified for equipment (no yoke) and 10' rope vs 15', 12:00 Time Cap

400M

6 rope climb

75' Farmer Carry 80# ea

Repeat decreasing rope climbs by 1 (6,5,4,3)

 

Made it through 2 full rounds + 4 rope climbs, the 400's are brutal as I live nearly at the top of a hill. the start is great, the return not so much
