- 12 inverted rows

- 12 Spartan push-ups

- 20 Russian twists

 

Finished in 9:37.

EMOM:

10 min/4 reps @ 200 lbs.

 

Conditioning:

Kill-my-friends-Thursday:

 

Circuits today:  1 min. at each station

1. Pull-ups

2. Jump lunges

3. Burpees

4. Flutter kicks

5. KB swings @ 40 lbs.

6. Wall balls @ 20 lbs.

7. Jump rope

8. Ball push-ups (one hand on ball, push-up, roll ball to other hand, etc.) @ 12 lbs.

9. Leg raises

10. Overhead arm claps

11. Sprints

12. Wall walks

 

It was one of the guys' birthday, so we did death by push-ups with 23 second time frames (in honor of his turning 23).  Myself and two others (including birthday boy) made it through round 13 before we couldn't beat the time.  Did something like 95 total push-ups...

I am 54 but have mixed views on being 23 again...especially with above in mind...23 sounds quite appealing :-)

-2.20 mile run (in 6* F w/ a 10 mph wind and 1-6 inches of fresh snow) in 15:47.

 

-1-10-1 pyramid: sit-ups, push-ups, air squats

 

 

 

03 Jan 17

 

Put the Christmas decorations away and finally got my workout space back.  I had to OHP a couple of not-light Rubbermaid bins full of d├ęcor to get them into the rafters of The Forge -- does that count?

Not to say the mustache isn't important but at -2F, I'd say you are lucky nothing more important wasn't frozen...

- 10 OHP @ 65 lbs.

- 10 strict pull-ups

- 10 reverse leg raises

- 10 push-ups

- 10 inverted rows (reverse grip)

- 10 hip thrust w/ 40 lb. KB

- 10 high pulls @ 65 lbs.

- 10 ring dips

- 10 weighted leg raises

- 10 close-grip press @ 65 lbs.

- 10 chin-ups

- 10 reverse leg raises

- 10 banded push-ups (blue band)

- 10 inverted rows (reverse grip)

- 10 flutter kicks (4-count)

- 10 high pulls @ 65 lbs.

- 10 ring dips

- 10 sit-ups

 

Run: (w/ +3k mask & 25 lb. vest) temp was -1* F this a.m. -- makes for very grippy snow.  Ran for 5 min. in one direction, then turned around and ran back.  Was faster on the second 5 -- had to run past the house for another 30 seconds.

Kill-my-friends-Thursday:

 

 

We did a relay race, but ultimately we each did 2 rounds of the following exercises (not necessarily in this order):

 

- 13 Dive-bomber push-ups

- 15 4-count scissor kicks

- 12 Jump lunges

- 12 Hand-release push-ups

- 10 Burpees

 

There was also a sprint involved to get to each exercise position.
